A Message From John
Holiday 2010
Dear Friends & Neighbors: I hope this finds you well! It has been a most challenging year for the real estate industry, but we’re still here, still working, and still selling houses each and every day. We are blessed to have a parent company, HomeServices of America (a Berkshire Hathaway affiliate), that truly understands what we do, how we do it, and how really darn good we are at it! Their support has, and will, keep us strong to weather the storm. Some exciting things have happened in the past year. We have a new visual identity and a brand new state-of-the-art website. We think it’s the best in the industry and haven’t heard anyone say different. We are in the throes of remodeling our Libertyville office into another state-of-the-art facility…I’ll be sure to invite you to the Open House when it’s done. We’ve re-tooled our marketing department with the absolute best and brightest professionals in the industry and there’s resounding energy throughout the company! We’ve built a traveling Agent Development Team to keep all our agents on top of the latest technology and best practices in the business…on a twice per week basis. In a year most say was tough, we have agents that are experiencing their most successful years ever. We continue to out-pace the market and remain in the top 3 real estate companies throughout Chicagoland. Our philanthropic efforts have attracted more agent participation, more dollars than the year before, and even the year before that. We continue to search for ways to give back to the communities that have supported us since 1961. If you’d like to keep up with the Chicagoland market in your neighborhood, just click here to sign up and I’ll put you on the list. If you ever get tired of receiving the information, just say the word and I’ll shut it off.

And please have a look at our annual calendar to help you stay on task in 2011. I know; you use iCal, Outlook or Lotus Notes…I do, too. But folks keep telling us they like something to hang on the fridge. It’s a compilation of scenes from throughout Lake County by local artists; we thank them for their thoughtful contribution and hope you’ll enjoy one by clicking here to request a copy.
From my family here at Koenig & Strey to yours, we hope you’ll have a very merry holiday season!
Sincerely,
John Santo
